About the Position
OBJECTIVE:
Oversees the function of the Store and Restaurant, ensuring the fulfillment of the vision and values of the Institution.
The primary goal is to display hospitality, starting with our staff and extending to our patrons.
What you will be doing
• Scheduling staff in Store and Restaurant
• Purchasing
• Receiving all merchandise (as needed)
• Verifying merchandise against invoices (call in credits/damaged or out-dated/close-dated product/missing merchandise, etc.)
• Record expiration dates in annual calendar (or delegate)
• Pricing at 50% mark-up
• Stocking
• Cashiering
• Merchandising
• Maintain Tea/Herb inventory on Clover or delegate)
• Count register tills, submit daily Cash Report to Business Office
• Go to the bank for change as needed (or delegate)
• Oversee Building and Maintenance
• Schedule outreach programs (cooking classes, lectures, etc.) or delegate
• Lead weekly in-store Bible study (or delegate)
• Attend Operating Committee meetings and monthly Executive Committee meetings
• Annual Inventory
• Maintain Facebook page
• Schedule monthly menu with Restaurant Supervisor
• Training new staff and work-studies
